Celebrate and raise funds for our programs at the 2024 Enchanted Forest Gala! 

We’re inviting our whole Woodside community to celebrate the school’s impact on our children’s lives  on Friday December 13th at the Barn at Bull Meadow in Concord, starting at 6 PM. It’s going to be a wonderful evening featuring dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Most importantly, this is our one annual event to support the school and the teachers who make a difference in our families’ lives.

Unfortunately, childcare programs across New Hampshire are
struggling to stay afloat — and even as an established organization with a 40-year history, Woodside School isn’t immune. We face challenges recruiting and retaining staff, as child care workers are choosing to move to higher-paying and more flexible jobs in other sectors. WMUR reported this past
June that “the strain on the system is real after more than 40 child care centers have closed their doors across the state in recent years. That has eliminated nearly 1,500 slots for children, making finding an affordable place even more
difficult.”

Between our two locations in Concord — Woodside South Fruit St. and Woodside at St. Paul’s — we serve approximately 150 children each year, including infants, toddlers, and preschool and pre-kindergarten-aged kids. Our programs not only allow young children to learn and grow, but they also provide essential support for parents and guardians, enabling them to work and participate in the community.
